Fortinberry Murray Method
Note: We are currently redeveloping our general training certificate in the FM Method, for health professionals, students and those who want to increase their wellbeing and effectiveness.
 Revolutionary Mind-Body Therapy
The Fortinberry Murray Method is based on psychologist Dr Bob Murray and psychotherapist and Feldenkrais Practitioner Alicia Fortinberry's innovative approach to healing. Incorporating unique anthropological insights and powerful mind and body techniques, the FM Method offers a breakthrough method for effecting lasting positive change on all levels: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
Psychologists, counselors, body-workers and medical professionals learn the FM Method to find new directions and techniques that can be applied within their own modalities. They also gain expertise in new areas. For example, psychotherapists learn simple but effective ways of understanding and working with the whole person, and somatic therapists gain techniques for supporting clients emotionally.
Fortinberry Murray can also be practiced by licensed health professionals as a stand-alone modality.
Note that the Uplift Intensive, which teaches basic Fortinberry-Murray principles, is a prerequisite, and an excellent introduction to our method.
