Uplift Program: 2 Day Intensive
San Francisco: April 15 - 17, 2005
Presented by California Institute of Integral Studies.
A Proven Program for Creating Optimism and Overcoming Depression
If you have ever felt depressed, anxious or pessimistic, you know you can't just “snap
out of it.” You may also have found that antidepressants and/or standard psychotherapy
are not the full and lasting answer for you.
This 2-day Uplift workshop introduces you to a breakthrough approach to
overcoming mood disorders that is up to twice as effective as conventional treatments,
including antidepressants and cognitive behavioral therapy.
|“If you want quick results that can have long term benefits, the Uplift should be considered as an initial therapy. It works!”|
-- Len Saputo, MD, author of Boosting Immunity Naturally,
Director of the Health Medicine Forum, San Francisco

Revolutionary Mind-Body Techniques
Featuring techniques from the 2 ½ day Uplift intensive, and our highly-acclaimed new book Creating Optimism: A Proven, Seven-Step Program for Overcoming Depression, this powerful workshop enables participants to effect lasting positive change on all levels: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
Each unique and highly experiential aspect of the Uplift is carefully calibrated to stimulate new connections
in the brain that result in more positive beliefs and behaviors.
You will leave the Uplift feeling rejuvenated, enthusiastic and empowered, with a whole new insight
about yourself and the world. More importantly your new skills will help depression-proof all areas of your life
and prevent relapse. Read more about why our techniques work.
You will learn what really causes depression and anxiety, how it affects the brain,
and how to counteract the difficulties of living in a stressful society.
We will help you understand current and past problems and life patterns,
and show you how to set boundaries, resolve conflict and avoid co-dependency,
using our powerful Needs-Based DialogueTM relationship tools.
